It seems as I get older, a lot of jobs are now certification-crazy. Every job I know has to be certified or else you won’t be able to get the job. I am not complaining but just an observation. With that,I decided to take a few courses at the nearby community college and take an Associate degree in Computer Information Systems. After 6 long years, because of having a child and a full time job, I finally got an associate degree in my new career web development. I finally got my diploma in the mail yesterday and not only was I proud of it but my hubby too. What do I do with this new degree? I am not quite as confident as most front-end web developers. I am chugging along on freecodecamp to finish the 1st six projects. Where are the new newbies in web development? Please share your experience.
